（劇などの）独白、一人語り
A long speech by one actor in a play or movie, or a long, tedious speech by one person during a conversation.
「モノ(mono)をログ(logue)に記録するように一人語りする」と覚えます。
例文
The actor delivered a powerful monologue in the final scene.
その俳優は最後の場面で力強い独白を披露した。
演劇の「独白」が基本ですが、会話で一人が長々と話すことへの皮肉としても使います。
