to declare one's public approval or support of; to sign one's name on the back of a check to make it payable to someone else.
「縁(en)をドア(dor)っす(se)」→ドアに推薦状を貼って支持する。
例文

その有名人は、新しいスポーツドリンクを推薦するためにお金を受け取った。
