/ˈdɪfrəns/最初の「ディ」にアクセント。3音節に聞こえるが、実際は`dif-rence`と2音節のように発音されることが多い。
違い、相違（点）、差額

「ディスり（dis-）ファー（fer）っと離れた状態（-ence）」で「違い」。

リスニングのポイント
「difference」の最後の「-ence」は弱く発音されるため、聞き取りにくいことがあります。
